Class details:
Join us for a heartwarming mixed media workshop as we create a special Father's Day keepsake featuring an adorable teddy bear sharing a sweet moment with a baby bear.
In this project, students will learn how to build a drawing using simple shapes before bringing their artwork to life with watercolor, colored pencil, and ink details. We'll explore color blending, shading, texture, and layering techniques as we create soft fur, bright balloons, playful hearts, and a cheerful background.
Throughout the workshop, students will practice observation skills, color control, and adding depth to their artwork while learning how small details can bring personality and emotion to a drawing. By the end of the project, each student will have a meaningful handmade gift and a beautiful piece of artwork they can be proud of.
No experience needed—just bring your imagination and a willingness to explore.
*younger ages are welcome but parent help is encouraged.
